Makayla Camel is from the Flathead Reservation, currently living in Bozeman, MT where she graduated with a BA in Fine Arts and works as a photo assistant at Montana State University. Her work is mostly inspired by her life and the people in it, focusing on creating documentary projects and working with experimental processes.  She is interested in creating an experience that is relatable, and comforting in the idea that we are all still figuring it out no matter where we are in life.
